On Sunday, February 4, a group of nine CECE and Lower od体育 students participated in a tournament hosted by NYC Knights, PS 41's chess club. Joined by L+ and CECE After-od体育 Chess Coach Lenny Kadishev, our players made Léman proud by winning multiple awards and recognition from the judges. 4th grader Nihaarika Shrikant and 3rd grader Shane Garber, took 4th and 10th place, respectively. This is the first time a group of Léman chess players have represented our school as a group. We look forward to more successes in the future!
