The Third Annual Léman Film Festival took place in the Morris Street Theatre on the evening of Thursday, January 31 where nine winning films were screened for the audience. The Léman Film Festival is an annual tradition that inspires and challenges students to create original work. The Festival officially kicked off on January 10, when the guidelines for the films were announced, Fearless Girl Statue (location), a ticket (prop), "It's time" (a line of dialogue) and forgiveness (theme). These required elements were incorporated into three-minute films produced by 61 Léman High od体育 students.
Léman parent and professional editor Stephen Jess made the keynote address, focusing on the merit of teamwork and active listening in film production. Seven judges took part in the evaluation process, including Léman parents, Charlie Evans, Naomi and Brian Steinberg. The award-winning films, below, were each presented with their trophies by Program Director Don Gibson, Head of Upper od体育 Robert Spezzano and Head of od体育 Maria Castelluccio.
